Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle presents "The Titan and Sacred Music”
MARCH 18, 2012 “The Titan and Sacred Music” The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle (www.thecot.org) will be performing the fourth concert in its 29th concert season. Since 1988, Conductor and Artistic Director Lorenzo Muti has led this elite corps of musicians in presenting a well-chosen and unusual repertoire that delights audiences and evokes high praise from critics. This standard of excellence has become the hallmark of the orchestra and has distinguished each succeeding season. Today it is considered one of the finest professional ensembles throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. The fourth concert titled, “The Titan and Sacred Music”, will feature the orchestra performing L. van Beethoven’s Leonora Overture No. 3, and Mass in C major.
